Postnatal recovery is also close to my heart – the time when women can rediscover their own bodies and strengthen their women's health in the long term.
But even if things don't go according to plan, it is important to me to support families with calm, competence and empathy, with space for all feelings and the security of being in good hands.
In addition to my freelance work, I have been working in the delivery room at the Linde Clinic in Biel since 2022; the work surrounding childbirth continues to fascinate me. I grew up and live in Burgdorf, and I offer my freelance birth support services in the surrounding area.
In my free time, I love being outdoors in nature – especially in the mountains. I love discovering new places, traveling, and constantly learning new things.
I am a member of the Swiss Midwives Association (SHV) and the specialist network of kindsverlust.ch.
I offer my services in German and English.

I am Colette
Being a midwife is more than a job for me – it's my passion and a calling that inspires and moves me anew each day. Even as a child, I knew this was the path I wanted to take. Today, I accompany women and their families through one of the most intense phases of their lives, with an open ear and an eye for the small and big moments, a willingness to be there even in challenging times, and joy in everything that unfolds along the way.
I find it fascinating every time what the female body is capable of – how it grows a child during pregnancy, masters childbirth, and changes again and again afterwards. The power and uniqueness of each birth deeply touches me.
I love supporting pregnant women, preparing them for childbirth, and accompanying them on their journey to motherhood. Witnessing couples become parents, witnessing this transformation, and being able to share a part of their journey is a great gift.
