Cost coverage
In a low-risk pregnancy, basic health insurance covers seven prenatal checkups, which can be performed by either a midwife or a gynecologist. For high-risk pregnancies, additional checkups are covered by the health insurance. I suggest alternating these checkups with your gynecologist for coordinated and comprehensive care.
Pregnancy checkups
Pregnancy is a special time – every woman, every family is unique. I will support you with individual check-ups, tailored to your needs, your well-being, and your questions. I will dedicate approximately one hour to the medical aspects – usually in your home.
What does a pregnancy check-up involve?
Heart rate monitoring and monitoring of the baby's growth progress
Blood pressure measurement, urine test, weight check
Blood samples (if necessary)
Advice on nutrition, digestion and prophylaxis
Relief from pregnancy discomfort (e.g. nausea, back pain)
Discussion about birth preparation, postpartum period and breastfeeding
A space for your questions, wishes and concerns
