Midwifery advice
Sometimes you need more than just a medical check-up – a safe space for your questions, concerns, wishes, and issues that concern you. I'll also set aside about an hour for this to address you and your family.
Possible contents:
Discussion of the last weeks of pregnancy (from approximately 36 weeks) and individual measures for optimal birth preparation
(Not every measure is suitable for every woman – together we will look at what makes sense for you and what your body needs.)Individual advice or prophylaxis for pregnancy-related complaints (e.g., nausea, back pain, sleep problems)
Mental strengthening and confidence in your own path
Organization of the postpartum period
Questions about becoming a parent
Even if you have all your medical check-ups done by your gynecologist, midwifery consultations can be valuable – especially in high-risk pregnancies when you are looking for additional support, information, or discussion on non-medical topics.
Cost coverage
One midwife consultation per pregnancy is covered by basic health insurance. In the case of a high-risk pregnancy, additional consultations may be covered by the health insurance. Additional appointments may be covered by supplementary insurance or paid for privately.
